About The Artist

Lisa Opielinski: Lisa Opielinski has been working as a full time artist for over 30 years. She started painting professionally while raising her son in their central Alabama home. Her talents have afforded her to work in many mediums all over the southeast. Decorative finishes, murals and Trompe L’oeil are just a few of the techniques used on the walls, ceilings and cabinetry in some of Alabama’s finest homes. Ms Opielinski also does commissioned work. Her commissioned art pieces include a variety of subjects, portraits, homes, abstracts and botanicals. The materials are also varied; oil, acrylic, fiber, metal, crushed stone on canvas, watercolor on paper, graphite & charcoal on paper, acrylic on fabric. When asked why she loves her profession so much, Opielinski replied, “Art isn’t just painting a picture.
