The Last 12 Months In Review
Hello! It has been a busy summer… As a matter of fact, the fall and winter were busy as well… Come to think of it, spring was hopping too!
It has been so nice to be able to concentrate on creating art. There are a few surprises that I have for you and I will tell you a little bit about them and when they will be introduced.
With the focus on conserving our natural resources and preserving our animal and plant habitats, I have created a series of pen & ink drawings that feature the flora, fauna and natural wonders of Alabama. With a little help from my friends at Tomato Crate Productions, we decided to release these drawings under the series name, NaturALabama™.
There are six drawings in the first release with many more to come. They are available in 8 x 10, 5 x 7, ACEO and note cards.
There are new paintings available in the series “Cu-fusion” and “Ag-stream” and more “Sol Vibe” creations are in the works. In the precious metals category, I have created something with gold! I’ll let you guess what the name of that series is.
ACEO, for folks who don’t know, stands for “Art Cards, Editions and Originals.” Google it! It’s pretty cool! There has been a lot of interest in ACEOs and I have decided to release some of my paintings and drawings in that size, so everybody can collect art! I have a collection of other artists’ works in ACEO and enjoy displaying them.
If you would like to see some of my work, and works of many other talented artists, visit the Blue Phrog Gallery in Montevallo, Alabama. bluephroggallery.com
The new Lisa O. Artist website is almost ready to go live. Again, my friends at Tomato Crate Productions are working diligently to have the site ready to go on line. Watch for the all new look and ease of locating the right art piece for your home.
Finally, Boom Days 2010 is only three weeks away! I have been asked once again to display my works at this fine event. I hope you’ll all stop by and say hello on Saturday, September 18th in Fort Payne, Alabama. The event is free to get in and there will be a lot of music and ART!
… Only three weeks away?! I had better get busy! See you soon!
